The Brighton is set back from the street, and there is ample free parking. The park-like grounds include a walking path, a grassy park, rose gardens, and a P-Patch style garden with raised beds for interested residents to plant as they choose.
The renovated common areas have new carpets, paint, tile, and comfortable furniture. Prompt maintenance and continual improvement of the building, building systems, and grounds is a top priority of the board, management and staff of The Brighton.
The "X"-shaped building, built in the late 1960s, has five stories and four wings. Most units have gas fireplaces and balconies or patios, and large windows. One, two, and two bedroom plus den units and laundry facilities are located on the lower level, and on the first, second and third floors. One bedroom units have one bathroom. Two and two-bedroom plus den units have two bathrooms. All floors are served by elevators and stairs.
The building has a controlled access entry and state of the art digital security system. Security staff is on site evenings and weekends. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Other times can be arranged by appointment.
The top floor is home to the Penthouse, a large, pleasant meeting space with a kitchen and restrooms. This space is used for meetings and building events and can be rented by residents and community members for parties and gatherings.

"We feel fortunate to have found the Bright 5 years ago. Its not just an ordinary apartment building, but a diverse, 4-story neighborhoodEthat values community, is safe and well-managed. Spacious apartments, trees and greenery make it a fine place to live."
